Simple & Sophisticated Glam Night Out – Outfit Inspiration

A simple, chic outfit with the perfect shoes for a glam night out. The perfect inspo for those glam nights where you want to look stylish, clean and put together.
This outfit is perfect for a night out with the girls, a glam night, or a date night, but it is still perfect for family and professional occasions. Keep reading for details on a dress, shoes, accessories, makeup, and perfume to achieve a chic aesthetic for your next do.

Clean & Crisp

I love white for a night out; it looks too clean and crisp to only reserve it for your wedding day. White can be intimidating to some, but it is the best colour to pull off that ‘clean girl’ aesthetic, especially if you can stay true to that and keep it clean. If you plan on going for a meal out, I recommend bringing some wipes so you can dab at any potential stains. The best thing about white, it is a neutral colour. You are free to choose which colours to accessorise with; I chose white on this occasion as I love an all-white aesthetic, especially on a glam night.

Simple but Sophisticated

This dress is a shirt dress, and I wouldn’t gravitate towards this style for a dressy night, but the dress is a satin weave that adds that chic element. I love the effortlessness the shirt dress conveys with the added pop of the sheen fabric for a simple but sophisticated outfit. I recommend this outfit for those nights when you are unsure of the dress code; this dress is the perfect middle ground, simple but does not look too casual, and is chic without making you look overdressed.

Aren’t You Cold?

The dress is short, but it is not overly so; it is a comfortable length to go out without shorts underneath but of course, pull some on if they make you feel more secure or offer some warmth. I wore this outfit in winter, and I was fine going out without a coat, thanks to the long sleeves. The cuff detail on the long sleeves also added an extra layer of effortless elegance; I especially loved where the sleeves ended on my knuckles. This may vary, depending on your arm span so definitely try before you buy if you want the sleeves to land on your wrist as appose to just after your fingers like it did on me.

Lets Talk Shoes & Bags

As you can see, I opted for a plain white bag. You may have noticed already, but I wanted to keep everything relatively simple and add an extra pop of glam in the shoe department which I will cover now. This bag has a silver chain, which I was looking for as I wanted to pair the dress with silver/diamanté jewellery but more on that in a minute. These shoes are stunning, and I have received multiple compliments on them both times I have worn them. They have a sugar-coated diamanté bow detail which catches the light really well and adds a pop to an otherwise simple outfit like this one. They are square toe which works perfectly for showing off your pedicure. The stiletto heel is relatively thin, so I recommend practising walking in them before heading on a big night out just to ensure you are comfortable and not too painful for you. The leather came in different colours, but for this look, I stuck to the white leather to add the perfect finishing touch of cohesion to the all-white outfit.

Jewellery, Hair & Makeup

As for hair, I went for a messy curly bun with this look. As the rest of the outfit is cohesive, simple and clean, I wanted to add some dimension to the hair. Although I went for a messy bun, a sleek bun would work just as well and further chic up this look if you prefer an even cleaner aesthetic. I do have a longline necklace on; however, the dress hid it, which I wasn’t anticipating; for this reason, I recommend a shorter pendant necklace that sits at the base of the collarbone if you want that extra pop from your jewellery. I stuck to the usual natural makeup look to finish the aesthetic, and the natural look helped solidify that clean, elegant appeal. If you choose to accessorise with colour, add a little bit of that colour within your makeup, maybe to the lip or the water line, just to offer some extra cohesion, but of course, it is up to you. If you also stick to all white, remember you are free to choose any makeup as your outfit is a blank canvas, and any colour will work well with a white outfit. If you want to keep the clean, simple look, I recommend against a smokey eye as it may darken the look up top, but of course, this is a personal choice.

Scent Check

Lastly, perfume time! No outfit is complete without it, the perfect sensory accessory.

I chose Kayali Vanilla-28 EDT. This scent lives up to the hype; it is lovely. I have mentioned before that it smells like melted creamy, hot brown sugar blended with caramel and vanilla. It is a great layering scent, so if you want to add another perfume into the mix, this one will easily allow you to do so. It is not overpowering but detectable, so it will add that extra element to your outfit without doing too much.

That’s All For Now!

Enjoy your plans, whatever they may be! I hope you got some inspiration from this post, and I look forward to doing more night-out inspo for you.

Stay safe, have fun, and remember to capture the memories!

Until next time fashionistas

Unique.
