Final Thoughts

This perfume was a blind buy, and I was apprehensive because of the ginger note; I am weird about ginger (and green tea, random, I know) notes in perfume, so waiting on this bottle was arduous, but I don’t hate it. This perfume is a great signature scent if you want a mature and sophisticated fragrance that isn’t too ‘old lady’ like. Whenever I wear this, I feel like I have my life together.

This scent is very feminine but not overly sweet in the way many feminine fragrances tend to be, it doesn’t feel like an obvious statement, but there is definitely one there. This is the ‘perfect for all occasions’ scent, It is an elegant perfume, and I find it interesting enough to always reach for it again. I tend to grab it when I am stuck on what to spray; it is my safe option. It is discreet, it becomes a skin scent after a couple of hours, but it has good longevity; I sprayed this morning at about 6:30am, and I can still smell it now at 10:37pm.

I have had this bottle for almost a year; as you can see, it is nearly finished, and this is the 100ml bottle, so it definitely gets some love from me, but it did take some time for me to decide I liked it, it was not an instant love and even now it is not one of my favourites. The main takeaway of this perfume is that it is understated; it doesn’t try too hard; it has a bit of everything but not too much: sweet but not overly so, floral but balanced, mature but not dated.

This fragrance has been discontinued, so if you are interested or if it is one of your favourites, definitely scoop one up before they are completely off the market!
