Final Thoughts

This perfume was a highly recommended blind buy, and I am so happy I bought into the hype. Kayali describes this scent as rich, decadent and deep; they are spot on with their description. It is honestly beautiful, I have frequently said in multiple posts that this scent smells like melted creamy, hot brown sugar blended with caramel and vanilla, and I stand by that description. It is not overpowering but detectable; it is also a safe overspray, and doing so creates a lovely scent trail.

Although this fragrance is a gourmand, I recommend those of you that are not gourmand fans to try it out; it is not a childish, immature gourmand but a decadent, delicious scent that will sweep you off your feet. The vanilla is less sickly sweet and more of boozy vanilla, giving it an element of maturity compared to most other vanilla gourmands in the market.

I can attest that this perfume is a compliment-getter as I usually get compliments when I wear it. It is an easy-reach, and if it is not top, it is my second most reached for perfume. It is inoffensive and so great to wear anywhere and everywhere, including the office. It is a great layering scent, so if you want to add another perfume into the mix, this one will easily allow you to do so. As it is so good for layering, it is hard to get bored of this scent as you can dress it up and down as you please and create different scents.

A key thing I noticed about this perfume is that it ages like fine wine; the longer I have had it, the better it smells. Side note, don’t be alarmed if the juice turns purple; vanilla tends to change colour as it ages but from what I have observed, once it turns purple, that is when the magic happens with this scent.
