Final Thoughts

This perfume was a blind buy; The house describes this scent as velvety, powerful and delicate at the same time. This scent is weighty on the musk; it is definitely the muskiest fragrance in my entire collection. Upon the first spray, I was wary, and more so as it started drying, but I like the dry down; it’s sugary, fluffy, cosy, and smells like a musky powdery hug.
I initially thought it was a skin scent, but I received compliments when wearing this, so the sillage is ok. As for longevity, the powdery musk definitely lingers. I do not pick up a lot of floral, but you can tell there is something sweet in there. It is definitely on the mature side of fragrances; it smells comforting and naturing, like a loving motherly hug.
If you have a sensitive nose or will be around people in an intimate setting, be careful not to overspray, as it can be a little nauseating and overpowering. Still, it will provide an elegant, sophisticated scent trail in small doses. It smells like a renaissance painting of angels and cherubs; it has a vintage feel. It is the type of perfume I would expect to have a squeeze bulb atomiser.
To wrap up, this scent is cosy, womanly, and a sweet powder. Musk lovers will adore this scent but stay away if you are not into musky scents. It is airy and smells like a powder puff sweet; it is sensual but not in a salacious way; this is likely due to the overdose of musk; honestly, it reminds me of a floral baby powder, which is not a bad smell to me at all. I recommend it if you are looking for a grown-up, feminine scent.
